The MerMade-4 Oligonucleotide synthesizer is designed to synthesize DNA, RNA & LNA oligonucleotides in a column format using standard or modified chemistries. The Mermade-4 is designed to replace some of the old 4 column synthesizers on the market which are no longer being made. The machine comes with a 4 column configuration and is capable of making a combination of standard, degenerate, and modified oligos in the same run with scales varying from 50nmole to 5umole. Progress can be monitored with the click of a mouse using our new improved in line trityl monitors on all columns. Synthesis time depends on chemistry and desired product quality but a typical run time is less than 2 hours for 4 columns of 20mers.
