The Seeplex® RV12 ACE Detection for auto-capillary electrophoresis is designed to detect 12 major respiratory viruses, 11 respiratory RNA viruses and 1 DNA virus, from patients' samples including nasopharyngeal aspirates, nasopharyngeal swabs and bronchoalveolar lavage.

The conventional methods (culture and IFA, etc.) to detect respiratory viruses takes several days or do not have enough sensitivity. Therefore, many of the recently developed diagnostic methods employ PCR methods. Among them, Seegene's Respiratory Virus Detection is outstanding in terms of sensitivity and specificity by applying DPO™ technology and detects the largest numbers of respiratory viruses.
