Worldwide AME Bioscience has developed a large customer base of automated DNA analysis systems, protein analysis and mass spectrometry systems. 
We have an investments in a DNA analysis company which has demonstrated excellence in the development of kits for researchers working with infectious disease detection. Other investments include a protein purifcation and labeling company plus partnerships with laboratories using technology we provide on a 'joint venture' basis to enable detection of metabolic disease, genetic disease susceptibility and infectious disease testing.

Our Nordic business focuses mostly on applications of DNA analysis closer to disease identification with innovative and patented PCR technologies as well as new and rapid fluorecent DNA analysis systems. Our Protein products focus on labeling and the ability to very rapidly label proteins, for example antibodies in minutes rather than days to enable rapid development of ELISA assays.

There are many areas of healthcare and disease identification which benefit us, one area which does improve the quality of life for some newborn babies is screening for the detection of inborn errors of metabolism. AME Bioscience has invested with selected laboratories by providing the technology and capability to enable easier access to this testing.
